Performance Calculator Engine Simulator Exhaust Input

The Exhaust window in the engine simulator allows you to enter exhaust system specifications for your engine.

• Header diameter and length.
• Collector diameter and length.
• Exhaust system diameter, length, and restriction.
• Muffler restriction.

All measurements can be entered in either inches or millimeters.

In addition to using the inputs in the engine simulation, the following items are also calculated.

• Header tube and total header volume.
• Collector volume.
• Exhaust area and volume.
• Total exhaust length.

After you fill out the Exhaust window, you then continue to the Aspiration and Valves windows to continue specifying your engine setup.
