Performance Calculator Polar Moment of Inertia CalculationIn the top list box you enter the items on your race car including their weight and position within the car. In this example, height and position have not yet been entered. When entering data, you can start with the biggest, heaviest parts and continue entering smaller, lighter parts. This way you can get a reasonable calculation quickly.
This gives you a calculated CG height and position which can be compared with the one calculated in the chassis weights calculation and/or the suspension weights calculation. Also provided are a polar moment of inertia calculation and statistical analysis of the items in the list. |
